I see you've found your way to the new (hopeful) home of The 42nd!

A definitive place for members and supporters of The 42nd Spec Ops Bn to go has been lacking for some years now; websites have come and gone like the... well... something that comes and goes often.

But! I've taken it upon myself to go forth and create! Lo and behold, this is what came out.

Yes, the domain name is meh, and …

    Future of the 42nd?

Post by Barden on Sat 10 Sep 2011, 11:03 am

I created a test website through Enjin for the 42nd, nothing really meant to be official, just wanted to see what potential it had. Enjin has alot of tools and widgets geared for clans and guilds, some of the websites I've seen don't look too shabby. And it's free with the possibility to pay. Paid accounts get a free mumble VOIP, etc. Also, not sure where the 42nd is headed rght now; whether or not we want to recreate the 42nd as it was before with a few changes or create a whole new unit. I should be active in CoD:MW2 fairly soon, I've been playing a little bit of Halo 2 PC since I got my laptop working again, and if my friend lets me use his Steam account I'll be back in a few other Steam games. and Halo3 and Modern Warfare 3 on Xbox when I go over his house if I can't get my owm console. Anyways, the website I created is www.the42nd.enjin.com for y'all that want to take a look, I'll give any of the members admin access to see all the tools and fool around if you're interested. Just thought it would be a little more interesting and appealing than just a forum. There are also donation buttons and trackers you can out on the site for supporting the website and servers.

If I had a dedicated, reliable Internet connection I'd host a server for everything (teamspeak, mumble, vent, forum/website, whatever) myself, but my interbutts is NOT reliable ATM.

    EDIT:
Also, try out AA3 again and see if it works fine for you. Myself and some of the people I play League/AA3/BC2 with are planning to get BF3 when it comes out, so that's an option, too, but those system requirements are rather beefy...

Yeah, I already know my laptop can't handle AA3. I get playable FPS in BC2 but don't have it anymore.
